🎉 New – Matomo Analytics stats in dashboard widget
Matomo Analytics is a great, (largely) free, open-source, and GDPR-compliant alternative to Google Analytics. SEOPress supports Cloud and On-Premise (self-hosted) versions. With SEOPress PRO v6.0, you can now view your statistical data directly from your WordPress dashboard via the dedicated widget.
To activate it, go to SEO, Analytics, Matomo, Stats in the Dashboard to enter your Matomo Authentication Token.
🎉 New – Pros and Cons for Product schema
Following Google’s official announcement about adding “Pros” and “Cons” properties to Product-type structured data, SEOPress PRO 6.0 allows you to add to your detailed product review, these positives and negatives statements via our dedicated metabox. An additional way to be highlighted via a rich snippet in Google search results.
🎉 New – Massive performance improvement
We have reviewed the way we generate all the metadata for each content on your site.
Result: a drastic performance improvement of up to 2000% improvement for the frontend. However, in absolute terms, this will be difficult to notice, but on sites with high traffic or with few server resources, this should have a significant impact.
