SEOPress fully supports emojis (eg: 😀😃😎🥳🥰) in metadata like title tag or meta description.
If you can’t save emojis or you don’t see them in your source code, this is probably because your database uses an incorrect charset.
To check your database charset, open your WordPress admin, Tools, Site health, Info tab.
Open “Database“, and check the line “Database charset“.
To use Emojis, the value must be:
utf8mb4
If you have only “utf8“, you will NOT be able to use Emojis.
To solve this, contact your host and backup your database.
