Updated Organization / Product schemas, new bulk actions for images, new export feature – SEOPress 7.4

SEOPress 7.4 is now available. We encourage you to update your site as soon as possible to take advantage of the latest features and improvements.

๐ŸŽ‰ Organization schema updated

New properties have been added to the Organization schema to meet Google’s new guidelines.

From the SEO, Social Networks settings page, Knowledge Graph tab, you can now specify:

  • a description,
  • an email,
  • a VAT number (important for the โ€œtrustโ€).

Don’t forget to clear your cache once you’ve made the changes.

๐ŸŽ‰ย Updated Product schema

Like the Organization schema, we have updated our Product schema regarding information relating to the delivery of your WooCommerce products.

These new properties are automatically added to your new and/or existing schemas, whether manual or automatic.

The only thing to do is to update SEOPress Free and PRO to version 7.4 to benefit from it.

WooCommerce variable products are supported.

This will allow you to increase your chances of obtaining a rich snippet of your product in Google search results while being more compatible with Google Merchant Center.

๐ŸŽ‰ New bulk action for images

Since SEOPress PRO 7.2, you can use artificial intelligence to describe your images in a relevant way and thus populate your alternative texts in a few seconds.

As one of our users suggested, we have also added the possibility of doing this from file names (provided that they are correctly named).

Find this feature from your media library, bulk actions drop-down list in list view.
